What is OnePass?

OnePass offers a uniquely simple, trustworthy, and faster way for companies to streamline their growth and funding journey with institutions, investors, and granting bodies, through one-click funding applications and exclusive access to training resources, certification programs, and connections. OnePass follows the ‘once only principle’, meaning organizations’ data is entered just once and re-used to match, pre-qualify applicants, and submit applications for public and private funding opportunities.

Who is OnePass for?

The service is meant for all innovative organizations and their employees, and all investing entities and granting bodies including, but not limited to: startups, scaleups, SMEs, public granting bodies, accelerators, VCs, etc. The current beta version of OnePass is specifically aimed at entrepreneurs, startups, scaleups or SMEs looking to apply to one of the pilot open calls live on the platform. That being said, as of today everyone is welcome to create their OnePass. Future updates to the platform will bring a much wider range of functionalities and solutions for all the innovative organizations listed above. If you are a granting body and are interested in publishing your funding opportunity, please contact us.

What are the requirements for using OnePass?

Anyone can create a OnePass. As long as you have a registered company, you can search and apply for funding opportunities.

How much does the service cost?

OnePass is absolutely free for all entities to use. No signup costs or hidden fees, no minimum term or commitment. Nothing.

Is there a limit to the number of funding opportunities that I can apply for?

No, there is no limit to the number of opportunities that you can apply for. At the moment, the only limit we are imposing is on the number of granting bodies (i.e public and private granting organizations) that can publish their funding opportunities on the platform. If you are a granting body interested in using OnePass, please contact us.

How does OnePass speed up public funding selection processes?

Based on feedback received from both SMEs and investors, the most time-consuming part of the public funding process is searching for suitable opportunities (funding seekers) and selecting the right applicants (funding providers). In addition, SMEs spend countless hours populating the same data over and over again every time that they apply for a funding opportunity. OnePass solves all these issues. Once you’ve created your OnePass, we will match you with the most suitable opportunities and your information can be re-used for every application that you submit. That means no more filling in your data over and over again. OnePass will help you apply to open calls in minutes, not in hours. We promise.

What industries does OnePass serve?

OnePass does not limit itself to any industry. That being said, each granting body has its specificities and areas of interest, and individual funding opportunities do generally target specific industries. While creating a OnePass, entrepreneurs are encouraged to select from a variety of industries to better describe their organization. That way they can be matched more easily with relevant opportunities.

How do I register my organization?

If you haven’t signed up yet, start by creating your OnePass. After entering your personal information and goals, you can either register a new organization or join an existing organization. Our onboarding wizard will help guide you through the process as quickly and as effortlessly as possible.

How long does it take to create an account?

It only takes a few minutes to create your OnePass and start looking for opportunities. The more information you enter for your organization, the better the chance of being matched with the most suitable funding opportunities and training.

Can I apply if my organization operates outside of Europe?

Yes, OnePass is open to organizations from anywhere in the world. However, not all the funding opportunities available on the platform are open to organizations from outside of Europe. Granting bodies (both public and private) are free to define their own selection criteria. The most common selection criteria include applicants’ location, industry, or maturity stage. For example, open calls that are funded by the European Union (EU) tend to only accept applications from organizations that are registered in the EU and in Horizon2020-associated countries.

How do I publish a funding opportunity on OnePass?

OnePass currently works with granting bodies on an invitation-only basis. If you are a granting body and are interested in publishing your funding opportunity, please contact us.

What is a UID and how to access it.

The UID is a unique identification number associated with your submitted application. This number is located just at the beginning on your application. To access it, follow these steps.

  1. Login to OnePass using the account you used to submit the application.
  2. Go to "Your applications" on the top right hand corner of the screen.
  3. Go to the relevant application and click on "View Submitted Application"
The UID will be located at the top of the application data.

How do I reset my account password?

You can reset your password at any time by clicking the “Forgot your password?” link on the sign-in page or by visiting this page directly.

Token is a horizon 2020 funded project with the aim of easing the adoption of distributed ledger technologies in public services and thereby providing more open, transparent, trusted and efficient public services. The Token components consist of secure digital identities, secure decentralized storage, notarization to immutably time stamp documents, and secure messaging. Why is OnePass in Beta mode?

Every product must start somewhere. OnePass is currently in “beta”, which means that users who sign up today get to use and see the benefits of its core features. As we make progress and gather feedback from our users, we will be adding new features and improvements. OnePass is in its infancy, but won’t be for long. Why not join us on our journey? We’d love to hear your comments and suggestions! Just send us an email at info@getonepass.eu.

What is “Sign in with OnePass”?

This feature makes it easy for users to sign in to third-party apps and websites using their OnePass ID. Instead of filling in sign-up forms manually, verifying email addresses, and constantly entering new passwords, our users can choose to “Sign in with OnePass” to sign up and start using third-party apps and websites right away. It works very similarly to when you click a “Continue with Google” or “Continue with LinkedIn” button to sign up to a service.

What is “Apply with OnePass”?

“Apply with OnePass” allows organizations and individuals to apply seamlessly to funding opportunities that are published on partner websites and Application Tracking Systems (ATS), using the information that is stored in their OnePass account. When you or your organization clicks on an “Apply with OnePass” button on one of our partner sites, only the strictly required information will be securely sent to the partner.

Is my data secure?

Yes, OnePass will allow users to maintain control of their own data. We are striving towards data sovereignty and portability. Organizations that use the service are in control of their own data and can choose who they grant access to it. OnePass is built on privacy-by-design and with Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) principles at its core such as transparency, user consent, data portability, identity control, and user protection. For more information on this topic, please consult our Terms of Service.
